Our Story
Art collectors and best friends Martin “Chip” Sherrill II and Michael T. Spencer, Esq. founded Miller Spencer and The Black Art Congregation in 2023. Miller Spencer is a global arts brokerage firm whose mission is to ensure that everyone can become full participants in the global art industry. Chip and Mike named the company after their mothers, Bertha Miller and Jo-Ann Spencer, to honor their strength, determination and commitment to the culture.
